Producer Stories

Since day one, we’ve been dedicated to making ice cream the old fashioned way. Our process guarantees that, but another big factor is how we source our ingredients. We have always been committed to getting our ingredients as close to home as possible, not only because it makes our product better, but also because it helps other local businesses in our community.

We are a small family-owned operation and we love collaborating with similar businesses. Our unique flavors are inspired by all of the amazing producers around us. We are up to 3000 unique flavors at current count and most of those have been inspired by what’s in season or creative partnerships with chefs, bakers, farmers, and other artisans.

We consider ourselves lucky to live in a place with such a vibrant and creative food scene. It also inspires us to constantly keep creating new and exciting flavors. We use locally-produced chèvre, sweet corn, and strawberries. We work with local chocolatiers, pastry chefs, bee keepers, and candy makers. We love figuring out and launching new flavors and feel really good about that fact that sharing our ice cream also has a positive impact on many other businesses in our community.

We’ve been working on a really fun and inspiring project over the last year and are really excited to start sharing it with you. We hit the road to visit some of our producers to see their work in action and to learn more about their stories. Seeing the passion and dedication that goes into every single ingredient that we use has truly been a humbling experience. Walking through the fields, gardens, and kitchens gives us a whole new perspective and appreciation for what goes into every single ingredient that we use. This project will consist of lots of great video content, as well as blog posts that further explore the stories of our producers.

Here’s a trailer for the project we’ve been so exited to work on. And check back soon for more stories about our amazing producers.
