Honey Creek Creamery

Located in the beautiful rolling Loess hills of Iowa, Honey Creek Creamery crafts award-winning chèvre and goats’ milk gelato using only all natural ingredients. They are intimately involved in every step of the process and grow their own organic alfalfa to ensure their goats are healthy and happy. They also use their own farmstead milk in all of their products. Each component is savored, loved and enhanced.

Sharon is just one of those people who radiates joy & I swear you can actually taste it in her cheeses. I love that she will bring in such creative new cheeses & it’s a lot of fun to create ice cream flavors with it. One of my favorites is her cranberry horseradish chèvre.

Their products are derived from our way of life on their Century Farm and they are committed to sustainable, small-batch production. The goats roam the Loess Hills and browse on native plants giving the milk, cheese and gelato a taste unique to anywhere else in the world.

They operate an amazing road side eatery right next door to their farm called Stanley’s Snack Shack. Take a little weekend drive in the country and check it out! Located on the corner of Old Lincoln Highway and Mahogany Road. The Snack Shack is open on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday throughout the summer. They also have a lot of great events on their farm, like GOAT YOGA!!! Check out their site or social feeds for more details on that.

Burgers are made from meat from our cows. All the cuts are blended to make tasty burgers. Goat cheese is integrated into the menu as well. Last but not least, savor our yummy goat-milk Capretta Gelato. You cannot get this anywhere else in the region. We are only one of three places in the country that produces goat milk gelato.
